LaDainian Tomlinson, commonly called ‘LT’ is an American footballer who is at present playing for San Diego Chargers in the National Football League. In 2006, Tomlinson set several records by scoring a league-leading 186 points. He went on to win the National Football League’s Most Valuable Player Award and the Associated Press’ Offensive Player of the Year Award. In the case of the first he bagged 44 of the 50 votes from a panel of nationwide sportswriters and broadcasters. He usually plays in the position of the running back. He confessed in an interview that his playing style was influenced by the great American running backs Walter Payton, Jim Brown, and Emmitt Smith.
